OPUS aims at providing the following benefits for this program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Meet new friends while learning skills together<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Expand your creativity by connecting to the arts<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Share your final project in a web watch-party concert<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional benefits:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Further development of chamber music artistry <strong>where student\u2019s April\u2019s chamber music piece can serve as audition video for the July-August Camp<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prolonging student\u2019s interest of\u00a0<strong><em>Arts Connections projects<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0offered at\u00a0the\u00a0OPUS Chamber Music Camp and further develop it to\u00a0<strong>a higher level<\/strong>\u00a0each year\u00a0<strong><u>before<\/u><\/strong> the\u00a0Camp<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All students who signed up for\u00a0<strong>5 COURSES<\/strong>\u00a0will receive\u00a0<strong>$50 tuition discount<\/strong> for\u00a0the\u00a0same year OPUS Chamber Music Camp, additional to\u00a0the\u00a0existing offer of Past Camper discount ($50) or Sibling Discount ($50)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performance to seniors and veterans by sharing the OMJ videos; and in an Web-Watch Party (with possible inclusion of solo pieces)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advantageous readiness to an already discussed and planned future\u00a0<strong>OPUS Music Composition Competition<\/strong>\u00a0event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The inaugural 2021 OMJ program has five<strong>\u00a0Courses<\/strong>. Each Course has four Classes a month, on <strong>Saturdays at 4:00 \u2013 5:00 pm. <\/strong>Course dates are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>January | Music Composition | <\/strong><strong>Saturdays | 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 16<sup>th<\/sup>, 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, 30<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>February | <\/strong><strong>Digital Music Creation | <\/strong><strong>Saturdays | 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 13<sup>th<\/sup>, 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 27<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>March | Fiddle | <\/strong><strong>Saturdays | 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 13<sup>th<\/sup>, 20<sup>th<\/sup>, 27<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>April | Chamber Music | <\/strong><strong>Saturdays | 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 17<sup>th<\/sup>, 24<sup>th<\/sup>, May 1<sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>May | Improvisation | <\/strong><strong>Saturdays | 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, June 5<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All courses are online via WebEx or Zoom.
